Our beliefs describe how we view God, the Christian Life, the Church and
Salvation in Jesus Christ firmly rooted in scripture.

We believe that Jesus is the only hero of the Bible and the one Rescuer every human needs.

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God). He became flesh to reveal God to humanity becoming the Savior of the lost world.

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

We believe we are only one small expression among the many healthy churches in the greater Syracuse area.
Therefore, we are committed to celebrating and uniting with the many Syracuse area churches who hold tightly to the essentials of the Christian faith.

It’s our belief that in essentials there is unity, in peripherals there is freedom, but that in all things there should be love.

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

God desires to rescue us all from empty lives of lonely brokenness and shame, and through Jesus, adopt us into a purposeful life as a satisfied child who sees and savors Him as Father. This Truth guides both the ‘what, why, and how’ we lead and love each other and the future we envision as we purpose to help make Jesus famous.

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

We believe all Christians should worship Jesus and not themselves. By obedience to the Word of God, baptism in the Holy Spirit and daily yielding to the indwelling Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image & mission of Jesus.
