CONTINUING THE CONVERSATION
1. What have you noticed about the way Chrsitians typically treat their enemies & react to persecution?

2. True children of God live “in contrast” by dealing with antagonists & enemies differently:

a. Jesus: “…love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven.”

b. What’s your gut reaction to hearing this is his expectation for true disciples?

3. The power we need to live in contrast ( salty & bright ) to the world comes from trusting & treasuring Jesus. In order to be more like Jesus, how might you focus on being with him more?
