a. Have you ever been reluctant or fearful to fully trust Him in specific areas of your life?
b. Would you say that the fear of fully trusting Him is an attempt to retain control (or the throne) of your life?

2. Looking back on God’s faithfulness can inspire hope for the future, but sometimes when God sends provision or deliverance, it doesn’t look the way we thought it might. Can you think of times in the past when God has been faithful, but in a different way than you expected?

3. Looking forward with anticipation is another way to inspire sustained hope. Is there anything you're anticipating that fills your life with hope?
